If you're in the NYC area in the next month or so, be sure to stop by VII Photo and check out the official exhibition of art and photography from The Photographer.

Doctors Without Borders and First Second Books
are proud to present a gallery exhibit
featuring photos and illustrations
from the ground-breaking new graphic novel…

The Photographer: Into war-torn Afghanistan
with Doctors Without Borders.

Please join us in our celebration of The Photographer—a book the Boston Globe says “should be mandatory reading for our Secretary of State and President.”

This remarkable work bears witness to the hardships endured by the Afghan people throughout the Soviet invasion of the 1980s, and to the present day. The gallery exhibit features selected prints of the late photojournalist Didier Lefèvre’s dramatic photographs and Alan’s War creator Emmanuel Guibert’s stunning artwork.

The exhibit is free, wheelchair accessible, and open to the public.
